Statistical shape modeling at the University of Basel

We are using statismo for diverse project related to statistical modeling. We have built a range of different models of the human anatomy, such as the human skull, femur, tibia, mandibula, masseter muscle and different teeth. Our main applications are model based registration and segmentation as well as the reconstruction of partially observed shapes for implant design and surgery planning.
