My preference would be to get the models from the sky130 google source. We are in the process of migrating the PDK/library data to https://github.com/siliconcompiler/lambdapdk to make handling this information much easier. |

I would prefer that, too. The problem is that the models as provided in the Google repositories don't work "as-is", so we would have to patch them (essentially the same as efabless has done). My worry is that maintaining our own patches for the digital PDK would contribute to the fragmentation of the Open Source EDA space and make it more confusing to beginners. Hello everyone,
I've noticed that siliconcompiler ships with a curated version of the Sky130 PDK and digital libraries. This is nice because it eliminates a frequent source of problems with sky130. Unfortunately, verilog views are missing, is there a reason for this? I'm using the verilog views provided by efabless in a local fork but would be happy to upstream this.
