@fufesou low priority |
after ie, 1 hour of active using ctrl+c and crl+v --> for copy/paste text.... it's not working locally and remotely... i need close all sessions with rustdesk.... then it working again... It's some bug, but I am not able to tell the reason why it happened |
@remoover Thanks for your feedback. Only text is copied ? Have you ever copied files using
Do you mean |
Correct... not work shortcut locally pc and remote pc ctrl+c and ctrl+v, BUT also NOT working if you right-click with the mouse and select copy/paste... Once you close the rustdesk and reconnect, then it works again. But I cannot reproduce this bug - but it often happens to me. Both we are using Windows10 (installed rustdesk) Do you mean Ctrl+C and Ctrl+V does not work? Or keyboard does not work? |
I've seen what was reported in #5155 once. I, too, was going from macOS > Windows 10. After recently updating rustdesk on the macOS side (1.2.2), but not on the Windows 10 side (1.2.0), I was noticing that rustdesk was sending Shift & Windows key (sometimes, just Shift, sometimes both simultaneously) to the remote PC at the minimum when I left click. While running open-shell on the remote PC it resulted in the start menu opening all the time and interrupts often. Screen recording of behavior. I have the Windows On-Screen Keyboard visible to show what's happening. I don't ever touch my keyboard in the recording. Disconnecting from the remote PC > closing rustdesk locally > restarting rustdesk > reconnect to PC didn't reproduce it. |
#5676 Was related to user locale and underlying rdev library. So it can be marked as resolved. I will provide the details on seprate issue |
Did you changed any option to make it works ? If so what did you change ? |
@Nikki-Devil It's wierd. I do not change any option, both 1.2.3.
There may be some issues.
We've tested Desktop -> Desktop, these keys should work fine. I don't see anyone else reporting the same issue. |
Okay, I will try to recreate a RustDesk network inside VMs to see if I can('t) replicate my problem and if so see if I can identify the root cause in the next days (Gonna use this message to update my testings to not flood this Issue) I tested on another Windows laptop and had the same issue |
I have also massive problems using rustdesk in win11 with remote session to a mac mini (intel, sonoma 14.2). Keyboard in compatibility... rustdesk keeps crashing on mac. Other keyboard option, it does work fine for a while, but then something gets confused and certain keystrokes are interpreted as hotkeys. This error happens everywhere, in desktop apps and terminal. Turning my keyboard (logitech mx mechanical win) off/on and reconnecting to mac does solve the problem for some minutes. example what happens after a while and pressing following keys (single keystroke, no combination): Mouse is working fine. |
Nightly 1.2.4 mac (us101)-> 1.2.3 Windows (japanese) Mapping doesn't work right in this case. I tried all the different mapping options, but still couldn't find a way to send a colon key ":" to the remote. |
@maemigh Hi, thanks for your feedback. Did you try the "Translate mode"? There may be different Japanese input layouts. Can you press "Ctrl + Win + o" to see the input layout on a Japanese computer? |
for #6738, it seems if there is no actual mouse/keyboard(potentially HID devices?) connected, mouse will look like the blue circle with a dot. I noticed this on a few machines running 1.2.4 nightly today, after plugged in a Logitech unify receiver(with no device paired to it) the problem was solved. Maybe virtual HID device can be an easy fix? |
How can you trigger the macOS CMD/Super key in translate mode? |
Hi, we have problems with keyboard mapping (Slovenian keyboard) Uppercase S with caron (Š) | Alt+0138 Example MapMode Thank you for response UPDATE: Using translation beta it works now |
