2023/02

The Longhorn v1.4.1 RC has just been released. This patch release primarily focuses on improving space efficiency, stability, performance, and resilience. One outstanding improvement is related to recurring jobs, and two new types of jobs have been introduced to help users design snapshot retention strategies that improve space efficiency. 2023/01

In the newest release of Longhorn, v1.4.0, support for ARM64 architecture & the ReadWriteMany feature have become generally available. In addition to these two significant milestones, several improvements and enhancements to volume function, data path performance, and system operability, like data integrity, replica rebuilding speedup, and system backup/restore, have been incorporated into this release. The Longhorn v1.4.1 has just been released. We encourage you to try it out and experience the improvements in space efficiency, stability, performance, and resilience. In addition, Longhorn will participate in KubeCon Europe in Amsterdam in April. We will have a dedicated kiosk sponsored by CNCF and a maintainer track session to present the project status, roadmap, and engage in technical discussions.
