What is Convendro

It is?

It is an FFMPEG wrapper. As of currently, Convendro uses a 2010 version of FFMPEG (that is, the one that still supported LIBFAAC). We will consider more recent versions. In the future or so.

Why Again?

Once a long time ago, I gave up on WinFF and decided to write an ffmpeg wrapper myself.

Ironically

You may notice that some of the Convendro code has survived on several .Net websites as people saw it as a perfect example how to do the FFMPEG output parsing. I don't agree. I think the current parser is too simple.

Future

There are other encoders/decoders around and currently, Convendro only targets FFMPEG.
