Performance profiles restrict the resources of virtual machine based elements. For most virtual machine types, that means CPU usage, RAM and disk space. With smaller profiles, resource-restricted environments can be emulated and the impact of software that runs out of control can be limited.
Most of the bigger profiles are restricted. That means that normal users can not select them. If you need more resources than provided by an unrestricted profile, please ask the administrators (using the contact form on the page). The administrators can change the profile for your devices or grant you permissions to use restricted profiles. Please tell the administrators why you need more resources.
