2017 release of the DEBtool

Some highlights of the new release are:

DEBtool/animal: numeric improvements to fnget_ep_min and get_ep_min_j !

DEBtool/lib/pet: improved default loss function (Marques et al 2017 in prep)

creation of estimation option allowing to choose which loss function should be used

creation of statistics_st which computes implied properties for all typified models, some typos in the computations were also repaired

Improved ‘check_my_pet’ which helps the user spot typo’s and wrong use of standards

Improved curator_report

Creation of function : prt_report_my_pet - prints all implied properties to html format

Implementation of new goodness of fit crition SMSE

Addition of folders with templates for making an new entry:

  • templates_std.zip
  • templates_std.zip
  • templates_Theriiformes.zip (model stx, with parameters in pars_init being mean values of mammals excluding marsupials, see AmP taxa tree; also added section in predict for males assuming males and females differ by p_Am only)

New release of the DEBtool

Some highlights of the new release are:

  • Improved automatized presentation of results including grouped plotting
  • Improved ‘check_my_pet’ which helps the user spot typo’s and wrong use of standards
  • Improved filters and warnings
  • Filters and warning for new models ‘stx’, ‘asj’ and ‘stf’
  • DEBtool/lib/pet now has templates.zip with the 4 down-stripped templates (which can make adding a new entry easier)
  • New structure called ‘auxData’ contains auxiliary information on data sets such as the temperature or food experienced by the organisms during an experiment
