Background

The joystick is used to manually control the sub and operates by running a driver for the hardware, and a controller to sent control messages to the control system.

Action Required

  • Investigate and reconcile issues with the joystick sending relative messages for yaw and drift causing the sub to yaw right over time.

Workflow

Consult @irwineffect about the symptoms and testing procedures for this issue and create a pull request when verified using the simulator.
