LEDgoes WallPOWAH

Welcome to the LEDgoes Wall POWAH Wiki. This board allows you to power many LEDgoes Displayboards using standard wall power.

The Wall POWAH board features outputs for power (5V) and ground on both sides, pass-throughs for serial signals, and linkages to provide the correct voltage to the auto-addressing signal when placed either on the left or the right of the LED panels. It has an OFF/ON switch to control the flow of power to the boards -- OFF is to the left, and ON is to the right. The 100uF electrolytic capacitor helps smooth out any ripples in the power so the boards have a clean 5V supply.

The barrel-style power jack on the bottom of the board expects a 2.1mm positive-polarity pin. We ship the Wall POWAH module with a 5V 5A switching power supply (power brick). The power switch on the board is rated for 5A, so we do not recommend using a power supply with a higher amperage.

Attach the Wall POWAH module to the left of your first LED panel, or to the right of your last LED panel.
