IELTS Test (2019-12-07)

Speaking Test

Part 1

  • Your Home / Accommodation
  • Reading
  • Time Management

Part 2

A time you had to give some advice

Part 3

  • Do you think parents should advise their children on what friends to have?
  • Should they follow all suggestions given by parents?
  • How do these experts give advice to others?
  • What kind of (examples of) skills do people need to have in order to give advice to others?
  • Who is the best person for guiding, parents or teachers? (I answered: neither. that should be internet, especially Google)
  • How does Google help people make decisions about career? (This is a good example of how your answers can affect the next questions you get - interesting!)

Writing Test

In some countries, some older people choose to live in the retirement communities with other people, rather than living with their adult children. Is it a positive or negative development?
