We built an app that uses Google Auth and Maps API's to locate the user then uses the OpenWeatherMap API to get the users local weather and depending on that weather report adjusts the color of the LIFX smart light(s) to various color settings which indicate a cold forecast, hot forecast, rain, etc.
Uses Google Auth for authentication, Firebase for token and user ID storage, Google Maps for map display and user location, and OpenWeatherMap API for current weather data.
#Currently working on:
- Adding timer and alarm functionality
- Adding gradual color change functionality
- Displaying current weather data on map
