  1. Clone and Install Bash-it framework
git clone --depth=1 https://github.com/Bash-it/bash-it.git ~/.bash_it
~/.bash_it/install.sh
  1. Change Theme to agnoster as in the image in line 14

nano -l .bashrc

  1. Append LOGNAME variable into theme file.
  • You can find theme files under ~/.bash_it/themes/ directory
  • I had used anything as my LOGNAME in the sample picture above.
  • You can use anything as a logname by replacing $anything in below code.
echo LOGNAME=$anything >> ~/.bash_it/themes/agnoster/agnoster.theme.bash
  • If you want to use your real LOGNAME which you can find using command logname. Use the following code instead.
echo LOGNAME=$(LOGNAME) >> ~/.bash_it/themes/agnoster/agnoster.theme.bash
  1. Enable the Theme
source ~/.bashrc
exec bash

That's it you can play with bash-it.
