CoCoNuT is a framework project for various software projects related to algebraic, geometric and combinatorial computation. The goal is to provide a general framework allowing for fast, parallel, and smart computing that can be used easily and efficiently in applications. Application areas include but are not limited to:

This last category contains projects that have well specified goals with specific deadlines, implementing a part of a larger project. Can be thought of as criteria for meeting milestones. And they are actually corresponding to milestones.
