Installation

1. Clone and install dependencies:

$ git clone git@github.com:yulduzetta/e-commerce.git
$ cd e-commerce
$ npm install

2. Add .envfile and add the following by updating placeholder values:

DB_NAME='ecommerce_db'
DB_USER='YOUR_USERNAME'
DB_PW='YOUR_PASSWORD'

3. Add database:

  $ mysql -u  root -p
  $ source db/schema.sql;
  $ show databases; ---> should now show your ecommerce_db
  $ exit;

4. Seed database:

  $ npm run seed

Usage

1. To run in prod mode:

$ npm start

2. To run in developement mode:

$ npm run watch
