๐Ÿšง Work in progress ๐Ÿ—

This is the first GitHub release of tommi.space; it is more an exercise and an experiment rather than an effective working version of the website.
As a matter of fact, running npx @11ty/eleventy --serve fails; nevertheless, I wanted to celebrate a more structured development path for this website, and a more forward-looking, organized and conscious โ€œprogrammingโ€ calendar.

๐Ÿ—บ Roadmap ๐Ÿš€

I am messily noting my plans, ideas, and doubts in Website development, while notes and steps specifically focused on the switch from Jekyll to Eleventy are collected here.

๐Ÿ”ฎ Future plans ๐Ÿ‘€

I have no ETA in mind (as if somebody was interested in getting one), but I plan to be releasing v1 around the beginning of 2022.

In the meanwhile, I will continue to go through the errors preventing the Eleventy version of the website from building, and continuing to push updates to the main, Jekyll, branch, but without working on any technical improvements.

It looks like a stressful and long journey, but I hope to end up with a future-proof, simple, sustainable solution to develop my personal website.
