Due to Apple's changes in security and policy, the automatic update for Mac users will fail. Therefore, Mac users are required to manually download the complete installation package from the official Wanchain link:
Wan-Wallet-mac-1.6.0.dmg or Wan-Wallet-mac-1.6.0.zip.

Updates

  • Support for Bitcoin's Taproot: Wanchain's Bitcoin Bridge now incorporates the Pay-to-Taproot (P2TR) mechanism. This ensures a secure, efficient, and decentralized cross-chain service for Bitcoin transactions.
  • Bridge Fee Update: A discount feature for bridge fees has been introduced. The Wallet's user interface now shows the post-discount amount. Implementing this fee-charging feature will incentivize WAN holders, fostering more sustainable growth for both Wanchain and the entire system.
  • Bug Fixes and Enhancements: Several minor bugs have been addressed to enhance stability. Additionally, various improvements have been rolled out to provide an optimized user experience.
