History
The starting point of the tool was an idea by Christoph Meyer who missed such a tooling in his projects.
The idea was implemented as a proof-of-concept by Niklas Borgmann in cooperation with Frank Köhne, Christoph Meyer and supervised by Prof. Sebstian Thöne.
Since the Aspect based approach worked reasonably well, the PoC was later refined in a bachelor thesis by Thomas Herkenhoff in cooperation with Frank Köhne and Christian Nockemann and again supervised by Prof. Sebastian Thöne.
The resulting tool is ready for use in Spring-Batch development teams and provided here freely.
Roadmap
Currently only maintenance work is planned.
Hopefully, feedback from JAX 2017 will inform our roadmap plans.
Christian Nockemann is the acting product owner of the monitoring tool. He is the person to discuss feature requests with.
