tunneling anchored machinery was a fucking mistake |
I think the removal of chairs in general takes away from one of the weird aspects of the game that can be quite fun or interesting. In a game where it's possible to condense a person into a cube, place that cube in a box, and surgicially implant that box inside someones chest while still allowing them to talk and beg for help all the while., it seems a shame to lose the subspace as a method of that goofyness. While as far as I can tell this doesn't remove the rest of the things you can steal someone while they're in (most of medbays machines) chairs are the most convenient and likely. If I remember right the resisting from tunnels was added to allow this very feature to remain in the game so if the only issue is on vehicles specifically those should be changed rather than the entire function disabled. Which I think should be easy enough since the tunneler already has a blacklist. |
