Frequently Asked Questions

These FAQ can be found in the #faq channel of the Miki server.

• What are mekos? Mekos are a form of currency for miki. You can gain mekos by typing >daily , and people can give you mekos by typing >give <@user> <number>. You can gain more by risking them in >slots

• How do I make miki mention people in greetings? Typing -u will welcome the user to the server, or you can use -um to also mention the user when they join.

• What are the achievements and how do I get them? Check the github documentation in #readme .

• Some of the achievements are not showing on my profile. What do I do? Achievements are pretty buggy, especially level and money achievements.

• Is there a way to see all of Miki's commands? Type >help to be DM'd the list of commands. Type >help <command> for specific command tips. The documentation link in #readme also has the entire list.

• How do I gain experience and levels? Whenever a player messages, Miki grants experience based on a few factors. If the message is too swiftly sent after another, Miki won't grant any experience. (no spamming k)

• How do you disable a command? To disable it in individual channels, type >setcommand <command> 0 in the channel desired.

• Miki isn't responding, what can I do? You can type miki.prefix to check the command prefix for the server or type miki.setprefix > to change the prefix back to > if you accidently changed it.

• The DMs are annoying!

You can stop from Miki DMing you personally by typing >togglepm

• How do I divorce someone when they're not in my server anymore? You do >divorce <Name as shown in your profile>.

• How do I toggle the level (and achievement) notifications off? Do >toggleguildnotifications.

• I'm not getting any error notifications from >toggleerrors and how do I fix this? Either you didn't toggle PMs by doing >togglepm or Miki is being rate limited.

• The name in my profile isn't the same as my username, what do I do? You just do >syncname to update your username to the database. Same with >syncavatar to sync your avatar into database.

• Why are the NSFW commands like >gelbooru not working? NSFW commands only work on NSFW channels. Simply go to channel settings and toggle on "NSFW Channel" in the Overview tab. See http://imgur.com/a/c2w2n for detailed screenshots. Also make sure channel starts with nsfw-.

• When do reputation points refill? Everybody's timezone is different, but reputation points refill at 12:00AM (GMT)

• Why do commands sometimes work and do not? Due to a recent incident, commands have a 5 second cooldown per user.
