There is no other issue with the same feature request.

Why is this feature needed/good for the game?

Use paper with json data to backup data, for cloning ( unique ID for species each round , and special token ID for associated player ), research server backup or anything else that requires data to be moved around

User Story

medical console, print out paper record, modify with pen to change species to something else for the jokes, Load it back in, and clone, 
hilarity ensues
