The Group Tour App is a place where friends/family can collaborate to plan out their activities for a group vacation. They will be able to share attractions and activities and then vote and comment on them. This interactive app helps groups of friends or family decide what to do once they get to where they are going.
A typical user on our app is generally 20-50 years old and has some experience with social media.
- As a group creator I can create a travel group and invite members to join so that I can plan a successful trip with my friends/family
- As a group creator I can login to my travel page and see all of my groups and edit/delete groups as needed
- As a group creator I can enter in the location, time and all pertinent trip details so that everyone will know the details and we can search accordingly in the database
- As a group creator I can add activities to my group so we can eventually decide what we want to do on our trip
- As a group creator I can delete or edit our trip details so that things can be removed but not just by anyone
- As a group member I can add activities to my group so that I can let people know what I would like to do
- As a group member I can vote on my favorite activities so that everyone else in the group knows what I want to do
- As a group member I can see what other people in my group want to do so I can know what types of things other people want to do
- As a group member I can edit activities - possibly only ones I enter, so that I can clarify things
- As a group member I can add comments to activities so that people will know my thoughts on their idea or we can have a conversation about that idea
- As a group member I will have a profile page with my basic info so others can be aware of who is commenting and adding the events
- As a group creator I can finalize our trip so we can all be on the same page as our trip approaches
- As a group member I can rate how I enjoyed each activity after the trip is completed - (this is a new idea to maybe flush out later)
- As a group member I can send all group members notifications or comments
- As a site visitor I can get travel itinerary ideas from suggestions
Do we want the ability for others to see great trip ideas that other groups have voted on?- maybe a search function for cities? A way to interact with an external APi that has tours in different cities.
