Global Ecosystem Dynamics Investigation (GEDI) provides high resolution LiDAR ranging of forests globally. GEDI dataset is available for research purposes like biomass estimation and other canopy properties. The code provided can extract dataset from HDF5 file format and study its properties. Clip data as per your region of interest using a shapefile of area of interest.
