Two screen savers that show animations based on the ThoughtWorks glyphs.

This release adds some logic to select the video device. In the past, the screen savers always used the low power device. However, on laptops that's the CPU and, especially with an external display attached, this could lead to considerable load on the CPU, resulting in the fans spinning up. So, now, unless the computer is on battery, the screen savers select the default device, which is a discrete GPU when available. This might use more power, but (at least in my experience) results in a cooler system with less fan activity.

Download the ThoughtWorksGlyphSavers.dmg file. If your web browser doesn't do it automatically, open the file you just downloaded. Then double-click on the DancingGlyphs.saver and GlyphWave.saver files to install the respective screen saver. After they are installed you can select the savers in System Preferences.

The screen savers currently do no check whether updates are available. So, you might want to go back to the releases page every couple of months.
