About Bread Player
Bread Player is your everyday music player. Bread Player comes with all audio formats support, playlist support, full library organizing--blah blah blah. To be honest, you won't see anything new, not yet at least, and we do nothing to hide that fact from you.
Bread Player is not special. Not yet. But it will be one day and that day I will come and change this page. So you just wait and watch!
Before I tell you why Bread Player? you tell me why not? I won't lie that there aren't any good music players out there, I won't even say that Bread Player is better because its not. So why in the Seven Heavens would I start a new music player?! It makes no sense.
I will tell you why. First, bad UI. I hate bad UIs. Whichever music player you may install, you will be faced with this issue. Sure, there are skins and all but BAD UI! Second, cluttered. I hate a mess of things (though I do nothing to clean it). If a music player is good looking, it will have no options but if it looks bad, expect to be confused when you click on that Settings button. Third, paid. I don't like people to restrict me (do you?), I don't like it when there's a big banner on the wall saying "pay $$ and play music".
So these are a few (three) reasons that made me start a new project but that doesn't mean I won't follow their lead.
So why Bread? You tell me.
Bread Player's not going to be many things but first of all, it won't be paid. Ever. Forever. Second of all, it won't be Groove and it won't be VLC or any of the other players on the market. It will go towards something new; "good UI with thousands of easy-to-use-and-access options."
The author knows accepts the fact that Bread Player won't become your default player for many days to come but he also suggests trying it out.
I have no idea why I settled with Bread. It has absolutely no connection to music. Maybe that's why.
