Hi there, I'm Shav 👋

👩🏾‍💻 Award Winning Software Developer at AND Digital
⚡ North Chapter Lead, Mentor at Coding Black Females and Teaching Assistant for Black Codher Bootcamp.

I have a background in Finance and Modern Languages, before pivoting into tech in 2021. I specialise in MERN stack, but also have technical experience is in Java, SQL, AWS, and AI. Outside of work I pursue my passion for promoting DE&I, advocating for equal and equitable representation in technology and teaching software development through founding Code & Chill events in Leeds. Also, facilitating, organising, and presenting panel talks for clients such as the Ministry of Justice, Coding Black Females, AND Digital and contributing to National Conferences such as the Yorkshire Post's Digital and Data Conference.
