The report and presentation can be found in the doc directory. The web-application can be found in the public folder. And the data collection and pre-processing script can be found in scripts. Please, follow the below instruction for collecting and pre-processing the data such that they are placed in the correct directory.
As the dataset is stored externally, we decided to use a script to download, unpack, convert, clean, and preprocess the data files. To run this script, one should install Python3, gather the the required Python packages, and execute it. The exact commands may differ per platform, the following should work on any Linux system running the APT package manager.
sudo apt install pip3 python3
pip3 install -r requirements.txt
cd public
python3 ../scripts/prepare.py
All data, including the intermediary formats, are stored in the folder public/data.
The visualisations were created using D3. Make sure you have downloaded the dataset and then open the main HTML file (public/index.html) to view it. As the HTML page includes JavaScript, it must be ran via a webserver (e.g. Live Server or http-server).
