Hello,

Of course anyone is free to setup and maintain forks of their own. The official SP main branch however is still maintained through the SP project. Several changes are on their way (v. 2.4) but it may still take a while to get them published.

Reactions may sometimes be slow (due to a lack of assistance or available time/ capacity). In case of the changes as submitted by James they are under review.

Not all of them are acceptable which causes a lot of handwork (Github doesn support partial rejections).

Other issues in the issue list can be worked on by anyone interested to contribute. Any assistance otherwise is most welcome, just let us know.

Any urgent requests/ questions can be raised through the forums of the Surveproject.org website as well.
