Statsmodels user-contributed examples page
statsmodels participated for five years in the Google Summer of Code program under the umbrella of the Python Software foundation, mentoring nine students.
see Google Summer of Code 2014 for information and ideas for the current year. In 2014 we want to focus on improving our existing code and and finish and merge our work in progress.
If you are looking for ideas about what to contribute to statsmodels, or ideas for missing extensions, then there are older proposals and a collection of SMEPS available.
