Google Summer of Code

statsmodels participated for eight years in the Google Summer of Code program under the umbrella of the Python Software Foundation, mentoring twelve students.

Ideas, Proposals

If you are looking for ideas about what to contribute to statsmodels, or ideas for missing extensions, then there are older proposals and a collection of SMEPS available. However, most of the planning and discussion of extensions to statsmodels is now in the github issues.
