- Ryan has had good success experimenting with per-object permissions in S3. This allows us to reuse proprietary pcluster binaries without violating our license.
- Max submitted a proposal to improve the bootstrapping problem.
- Scott also reminded us of the compiler bootstrapping feature in our CI pipelines. If this won't work for pcluster bootstrapping then we should consider removing his functionality from the CI module.
- We're hoping to meet with the relevant stakeholders soon to better define the best path forward for pcluster bootstrapping.
- We are copying our production GitLab database into our staging instance so we can safely practice upgrading this service.
- We increased GitLab CI's log size limit from 4 MB to 10 MB.
- We're making good progress towards cloud CI runners for Windows.
