This project aims to analyze India's import and export data from 2010 to 2021 and examine the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on India's trade with foreign countries. The goal is to provide insights into trade patterns, identify top trade partners, and understand the effects of the pandemic on India's economy.
The project utilizes two primary data sources:
-
Kaggle Dataset: The Kaggle dataset, sourced from user Lakshya Agarwal, includes India's import and export data from 2010 to 2018. The data is segmented by country and commodity type.
-
Government of India, Department of Commerce: The project also incorporates aggregated data obtained from the Government of India, Department of Commerce website. This data includes trade information by country for the years 2018-2019, 2019-2020, and 2020-2021.
