Namaste World!

I am a first-year Graduate Student in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Michigan Ann Arbor. I completed my undergraduate studies in Aerospace Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology Bombay. I am interested in Autonomous Systems and Robotics, Engineering Design, Systems Thinking, and Organization Theory in general. I was a part of the Student Satellite Program of IIT Bombay till 2022, where I led a team to design of a star tracker for nano-satellites. I am currently working at the LATTICE Lab under the guidance of Prof. Max Li on the optimal dispatch strategy for multi-agent drone systems for drone-based logistics.

General Interests

Apart from my studies in my free time I like to read about Indian Mythology, Astronomy and I am a great fan of Devdutt Pattnaik. I have read both of his excellent commentaries on Mahabharata and the Ramayana namely 'Jaya: An illustriuos retelling of the Mahabharata' and 'Sita: An illustriuos retelling of the Ramayana'. Currently I am reading his commentary 'My Gita' on 'Bhagvadgeeta'.

This liking was developed because of a slight reading of few initials of the book 'Bhagavadgeeta: As it is' by H.H. Sri A.C Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada.

I also play guitar and harmonium in my free time. Other that that, I have read and studied about the "Ancient Astronaut theory" propounded by Erick Von Daniken, author of 'Chariots of the Gods?'. Regarding astronomy I try to read up whenever I am free and have gone through 'A Brief History of Time' by 'Dr. Prof. Stephen Hawking' which is a very nice book based on fundamentals of space, time etc.
