This is a simple demonstration of how to plot a map of the 50 Chicago Wards using Scalable Vector Graphics (SVG) and Javascript.

This project uses ward shapefile data from the City of Chicago Data Portal.
This project uses a number of Javascript libraries: Kartograph.js, RaphaelJS, jQuery, and underscore.js.
