This repository contains code for the FriendlyChat project in the Udacity course.
FriendlyChat is an app that allows users to send and receive text and photos in realtime across platforms. It uses firebase database to store and access images and messages. It helps users group chat as well as one to one chat with each other. The app has option to google signin only for security reasons.

Setup requires creating a Firebase project. See https://firebase.google.com/ for more information.
This sample uses the Gradle build system. To build this project, use the "gradlew build" command or use "Import Project" in Android Studio. If your gradle version is mismatched then you need to update your gradle version accordingly. Some libraries used in the project might have become obselete. So, Update them if required.
