Rewriting the Code Women in College Rewriting the Code is a national non-profit Organization dedicated to empowering a community of college women with a passion for technology. The community is free and open to all college women pursuing computing majors such as engineering, computer science, statistics, and math. As part of our community, you'll also have an opportunity to become a Rewriting the Code Fellow, which will give you access to further benefits. In addition to the RTC membership benefits, the fellowship includes exposure to RTC partner companies for potential internships or full-time jobs as well as robust summer programming and mentoring in select hub city locations. Break Through Tech Women College Students in NY + Chicago Break Through Tech works at the intersection of academia and industry to propel more underrepresented women into higher education and tech careers. Code2040 Black & Latinx Students Code2040 is a nonprofit activating, connecting, and mobilizing the largest racial equity community in tech to dismantle the structural barriers that prevent the full participation and leadership of Black and Latinx technologists in the innovation economy. Through events, trainings, early-career programs, and knowledge sharing, Code2040 equips Black and Latinx technologists and their allies with the tools, connections, and care they need to advocate for and achieve racial equity in the tech industry. Out in Tech LGBTQIA+ Out in Tech is a 501(c)(3) non-profit that unites the LGBTQ+ tech community. We do this by creating opportunities for our 25,000 members to advance their careers, grow their networks, and leverage tech for social change. Website
ColorStack Black, Latinx & Native American Students ColorStack’s mission is to increase the entrance, retention and success of Black, Latinx, and Native American college students in computing. CodePath College Students Free in-person coding courses and access to tech companies for college students. CodePath.org is a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit increasing diversity in tech by transforming college C.S. education for underrepresented minorities and underserved populations. Website
Wallbreakers College Students Take the leap from Computer Science Graduate to Software Engineer. We find, train and qualify underrepresented computer science majors from universities across the country and refer them to progressive companies. The training is free to students. Website
Facebook ABCS College Students Want to boost your readiness for Facebook technical interviews? The Above & Beyond Computer Science (ABCS) program is a 9-week workshop series with Facebook software engineers across the country. These workshops are designed to help you master the knowledge, skills, and mindsets for a successful technical interview in industry. Website
Google Summer of Code College Students The Google Summer of Code, often abbreviated to GSoC, is an international annual program in which Google awards stipends to students who successfully complete a free and open-source software coding project during the summer. The program is open to university students aged 18 or over. Website
Google Season of Docs All Let's bring open source and technical writer communities together, to the benefit of both. Together we raise awareness of open source, of docs, and of technical writing. Uber Career Prep Program College Students in U.S., Canada & Brazil Join the Uber Career Prep Program and take your STEM skills to the next level with this incredible internship, facilitated by experts in the field. This year-long program will consist of five virtual workshops. Topics will vary for each session covering a range of competencies which include technical interview skills, insights into how top engineers succeed, communication and self-marketing skills, engineering competencies, and more. MLH Fellowship All The MLH Fellowship is a 12-week internship alternative for aspiring software engineers. Our programs pair fun, educational curriculum with practical experience that you can put on your resume right away. It's collaborative, remote, and happens under the guidance of expert mentors. Out in Tech U LGBTQIA+ Students Out in Tech U’s Mentorship Program empowers and encourages diversity in the tech world, pairing young adults with like-minded professionals working in the tech sector today. Students can learn first-hand the hard and soft skills needed for launching a successful career. Through an eight-week-long growth workshop, mentors and mentees work closely together to create fun and inspiring projects, visit cool tech companies, and build lasting relationships based on mutual respect and interests. We offer both in-person mentorship in New York City, as well as remote mentorship anywhere in the United States. Website
#BUILTBYGIRLS Wave Women & Non-Binary Students Ages 15 - 22 WAVE connects young women (Advisees) aged 15-22 years old with professionals (Advisors) in tech as part of a 1:1 Advisor program. The goals are simple: Exposure - Expose young women and non-binary students to a variety of careers powered by tech, Skills - Arm them with practical skills for their first job, Network - Help them build their first network. We give high school and college women access to real Advisors, exclusive events at top tech companies, and no-fluff resources to help them explore and land their first internship or job. Website
PMA.LA Mentorship Program College Students Product Managers Association Los Angeles's 12 week student mentorship program focuses on mentoring undergrad students of underrepresented groups to successfully join the field of product management. Our program is volunteer based and provides the resources needed to set up the mentor and mentee for success. Website

Playcrafting NYC Meetup All Playcrafting provides affordable education and industry events to help grow the game development community. We aim to help gamers and enthusiasts become developers and skilled developers become successful at expanding their audience and revenue. We do this through one-night classes, eight-week courses, and industry events (both large and small) for game developers and those aspiring to make games in topics including game design, programming, art, business and more. Hacker Hours All Free office hours for programming help - any programming language, all skill levels. The format is super simple: you come with a laptop, sit, hang out, and code, and flag down one of the organizers if you have a question. That's it! If we can't answer your question, we'll find you someone who can, or at least point you in the right direction. More experienced folks are also welcome as mentors. Website
CUNY Tech Meetup CUNY Affiliated The CUNY Tech Meetup puts CUNY and its community of students, alumni, faculty and friends front and center in New York City’s growing tech sector.
