Description

This is a July 22, 2020 snapshot of a group project created by three people for a the Carleton Bootcamp: Dina Liubarets, Liam Mackinnon & Shamik Haldar The original project repo can be found here and is hosted here.

LSD is an exchange-neutral tool designed for the modern cryptocurrency/token traders. Whether you are a professional investor or an amateur enthusiast, LSD provides all the necessary tools to grab the market bull by its horns.

  • Predict the future with our database of historical prices
  • Relax by subscribing to our notification system emailing you of changing trends
  • View how your crypto stacks up against the competition by staying informed through our news section Powered by CoinCap and NewsAPI, LSD brings you accurate performance statistics for free! The website was written using HTML, javascript and jQuery making use of several apis such as coincap, newsapi, googlenews and spreaker. It is styled using the materialize and mui frameworks. Finally, the snapshot is hosted here.

Installation

Download or clone the repo to a working directory and extract its contents. Use a Command Line Interface to install necessary dependencies by running the following command:

npm i

Usage

Type the following in any CLI to run the app.

node server.js

Each module's functions have also been demo-ed below.
