BIFL and High Quality Brands

The aim of this document is to list out the brands that are known to be BIFL or otherwise high quality. Feel free to submit pull requests to add or remove entries. The hope is to take out the time-consuming research when looking for high quality BIFL products.

NOTE: At the moment, it's mostly from a UK perspective, therefore YMMV.

If this gains traction, I could convert this into a web app of some kind to allow for easy searching and filtration based on whether brands deliver to certain countries, etc.

Coats

• All Saints - BIFL wool coats.

Shoes

• Danner - BIFL boots. US based.
• Oliver Sweeney - BIFL trainers.
• ecco - Slightly BIFL trainers. Mid-range.

Socks

• Bridgedale - BIFL socks (as BIFL as you can get for socks). UK based.

Cleaning

• Black+Decker - BIFL vacuums.

Kitchen

Appliances

• Dualit - BIFL toasters and kettles. UK based.
• Sharp - Dumb microwaves with only power and time dials.
• Zojirushi - BIFL rice cookers. Best brand in the world. Very difficult to get in UK.
• Gaggia UK Seller - BIFL Coffee machines. Classic Evo recommended.
• Vitamix - BIFL blenders.

Crockery & Tools

• Denby - BIFL plates and bowls. UK based.
• The Sharp Chef - Sells many premium knife brands. UK based.
• ProCook - Many BIFL kitchen wares, e.g. pots, pans, sciccors, lemon squeezer, etc.

Furniture

Desks

• IKEA - BIFL desks. Only their flagships are BIFL though, i.e. >£280.

Chairs

• HermanMiller - BIFL office chairs.
• IKEA Markus - Better value BIFL office chair.

Bed

• The White Company - BIFL and highest quality bed sheets. UK based. International shipping (expensive though).

Computing

• Ducky - BIFL mechanical keyboards that aren't £300 influencer scams. Taiwanese based. Shine 7 is flagship. Actually used by Taiwanese national e-sports teams.
• LG - Monitors. All other brands like Asus are just reskinned LG monitors so just skip the middlemen.
• Caldigit - Docking stations. The only docking station brand I know of that comprehensively works.
• ASUS - Motherboards.
• ekwb - BIFL PC water cooling.
• noctua - BIFL PC fans and PC air cooling (if water cooling isn't your thing).
• LogitechG - Mouse pads.
• audio-technica - BIFL Microphones.
• Thrustmaster - Mostly-BIFL Joysticks, steering wheels, etc.
• Focusrite - BIFL audio interfaces.
