5.0.x are milestone tags that will represent specific use-cases being enabled.

5.0.0 represents the ability to sign in to the Gossipnet, create a character, and exchange messages. Avatars (to some degree) should be visible and able to move in the world.

Persistence and blockchain guarantees may not be in place, and … many, many other things.
