Mobile View UI/UX for Resuminator 馃摫 #153
Comments
POV: Most users will edit their resumes on a Desktop / Laptop. Nevertheless, a mobile version that supports quick edits when inspiration strikes would be nice. A full-fledged mobile app isn't required, IMO. |
can i work on it |
Sure @xoxo16, please drop your ideas here for starting a discussion 馃槃 |
pls, see the above file for the color scheme . should I continue working on this design or any suggestions you have |
Hey @xoxo16 thanks a lot for sharing this design, our team was off during the festive season in India, hence the delay in response. For the colour scheme, you may refer to this Figma file that Karan Munjani (@Karan-Munjani) made last year. You may also get a reference for presenting a mini UX Case study using the format followed here. The main problem we wish to tackle with a mobile view is
We're not looking to provide edit functionality on the mobile view, so a desktop experience is better suited. So basically just the Home and the Download page. |
Mobile View for Resuminator 馃摫
Currently, we can only use Resuminator smoothly on the desktop itself. And to be fair we started out with a desktop version since most of our users were building their resumes on a larger screen itself. But slowly we realized that a lot of users need to access their resumes on a mobile device when they wish to download or edit them on the go. And that comes up due to the use of LinkedIn and Twitter on mobile, where users are sending out their resumes the most.
The problem statement
Resuminator users feel the need to update and download their resumes on their mobile devices (and iPads/tablets). We need to design an experience for them for smaller devices keeping in mind the existing functionality.
We're open to ideas on the design that we'll be counting as a Hacktoberfest 2022 contribution if the submission is made during October 2022.
