Resuminator is participating in Hacktoberfest 2022, hosted by DigitalOcean, AppWrite, and Docker 🥳 https://www.resuminator.in/hacktoberfest

We invite all developers and designers to contribute to Resuminator this October 2022 by opening new issues, sharing your thoughts in our discussions, or by submitting a pull request (PR) against any Hacktoberfest labelled issue 🙌🏻

We will be using this issue for tracking our Hacktoberfest progress, and also to help new contributors find relevant issues to work on.

How can I participate?

First of all, we are super glad to see your interest in participating in this year's Hacktoberfest with us. We will brief you up here, but the detailed info will be on our Hacktoberfest Docs

We have different labels on our issues that signify what is the issue related to. For Hacktoberfest you need to contribute to issues with the Hacktoberfest label and then select the issues according to the difficulty

Level	Description
Level 1	Easy issues, minor typo fixes, documentation lines etc. (reserved for beginners)
Level 2	Patches - which do not require you to understand the codebase
Level 3	Bug Fixes for some modules of the app
Level 4	Adding new feature or functionality to existing code (frontend, website, backend, docs)
Level 5	Designing and developing a new feature/functionality along with documentation

Pre-requisites

✅ You must have a Resuminator account
✅ You have set up the front end and backend with the required components
✅ You have read the Contribution Guide
✅ You have some prior knowledge of some part of our tech stack (for Level 3+ issues)

About swags! ✨

This year for Hacktoberfest, we're planning to ship swags for whoever contributes to Resuminator during October 2022. And since we're a community-driven software, we have an open discussion on swags (#151). Make sure you check it out!

We'll be shipping swags all across India. We haven't decided if we'll be sending swags outside India or not. Once Hacktoberfest is over we'll be sending out forms to all our contributors in HF'22 for shipping details.

What swags we'll send out are determined by the difficulty of the issue being solved by the contributor. The higher the issue level, the more the swags.
