This issue can now (finally) be worked around by 591838c which now accepts a device_filter list to be sent to get_devices |

Allows to return UART devices using the python tcp client for Otii automation toolbox.
Compatible with the specifications from https://www.qoitech.com/help/tcpserver/#otii_get_devices
