Cowrie Sensor

Cowrie is a "medium interaction SSH and Telnet honeypot designed to log brute force attacks and the shell interaction performed by the attacker."

Deployment

This sensor can be deployed using the Ubuntu - Cowrie deploy script, found in MHN's Deploy page. The script provided supports installation on Ubuntu 16.04 systems. Ubuntu 14.04 is currently failing to install using the provided script. To avoid installation errors, it is highly recommended you make sure the host system is fully up-to-date before running the deploy script.
