Sorry for keeping the PR open. Thanks for taking the time to improve the module.

We logging on different levels, like info, debug, warn, e.g. If you would like to have more logger please feel free to add meaningful logging (as debug). Please think about adding context as well. Simply adding a line of log to prove the code passed some point should not be the way forward in my opinion.
