Objective: find peer-reviewed scientific and medical articles on face masks and disease.
This is a typical example of how to use ContentMine software for searching the medical literature in bulk and extracting articles.
We believe that anyone with a Desktop ("PC") can do this . You'll need:
- A machine with several Gigabytes of free space and the knowledge to manage it
- running Unix, MacOSX or Windows
- to be happy to install and run prograns locally (i.e. not have to ask local permission)
- happy to work with text files
- patience and good humour.
The search consists of:
- a broad search of the whole literature (millions of articles).
- Download some or all of this locally (it's legal).
- search with our Dictionaries (or make your own)
- browse and analyse the results with data Analysis tools
