Nostromo Theme (for Jetbrains IDEs)

A retro sci-fi color theme.

Inspired by computer terminals in sci-fi movies of the 70s and 80s.

NOTE: This theme works with all the Jetbrains IDEs (IntelliJ, WebStorm, Android Studio, Rider, PhpStorm, PyCharm, etc.)

Installation

1. Download the theme
   • Using Git: git clone https://github.com/pappkamerad/nostromo-theme-jetbrains.git.
   • Or manually: Download .zip package from GitHub.
2. Copy to the IDEs extension folder
   • Windows:
     • Create a folder called colors inside C:/Users/{you}/.{NameOfIDE}/config/.
     • Copy the ./theme/Nostromo.icls file to the C:/Users/{you}/.{NameOfIDE}/config/colors/ directory on your local machine.
   • Linux/Mac:
     • Create a folder called colors inside ~/.{NameOfIDE}/config/.
     • Copy the ./theme/Nostromo.icls file to the ~/.{NameOfIDE}/config/colors/ directory on your local machine.
3. Activate the theme
   • Close and re-open the IDE.
   • Go to Settings -> Editor -> Colors & Fonts.
   • Select Nostromo from the dropdown menu.
   • Click the Ok button to activate the color scheme.
