Security Policy

Reporting a Vulnerability

We take security vulnerabilities seriously. If you discover any security issues within our sport championship app, please report them to us immediately. Your cooperation helps us maintain the security and integrity of our platform.

Reporting Process:

  1. Reporting Method: To report a security vulnerability, please send an email to b422056@iiit-bh.ac.in with a detailed description of the issue.
  2. Expectation: You can expect an acknowledgment of your report within 24 hours of submission.
  3. Investigation: Our security team will investigate all reported vulnerabilities promptly.
  4. Resolution: Once verified, we will work to resolve the vulnerability in a timely manner and keep you updated on the progress.
  5. Disclosure: We follow responsible disclosure practices. Once the vulnerability is fixed, we will publicly acknowledge your contribution, unless you request otherwise.
  6. Security Updates: Security updates will be released as soon as fixes are available. Users will be notified through our release notes and other appropriate channels.

Scope:

This security policy applies to all versions of our sport championship app that are currently in development. Users are encouraged to report any vulnerabilities they encounter, regardless of the app version.

Responsible Disclosure:

We expect all security researchers and users to adhere to responsible disclosure practices. This includes:

  • Privileged Access: Do not attempt to gain unauthorized access to user data or system resources beyond what is necessary to demonstrate the vulnerability.
  • Data Protection: Respect user privacy and data protection laws when handling any user data obtained during your security research.
  • Communication: Maintain open and transparent communication with our security team throughout the disclosure process.
