rSPL : A Typsesafe Relational Extension of simPL

This project develops a domain specific language, rSPL, which is an extension of simPL. simPL is an OCaml based language developed by the Programming Language Design and Implementation course staff (YSC3208).

rSPL includes relational operations similar to those found in database querying languages like SQL.

Getting started

Prerequisites

  • OCaml 4.2
  • The lexer and parser libraries.

Installing

  • Run bincomp7.sh to generate the executable spli.
  • Execute spli with the file name as argument.

Tests

  • See tests folder. Pass the file path for each test as an argument to the executable spli as follows:

    ./spli <file-name>
