A Chrome extension to download videos from echo360. Only download videos you have permission to download.
As an added bonus, the extension adds 2.25x, 2.5x, 2.75x, and 3x speed settings.
This installation process involves installing a Chrome extension without using the Chrome Web Store. Malicious extensions installed this way can easily gain access to your browser. Only install this extension (or any extension) if you trust it.
- Download the latest release of the extension. It will be a zip file.
- Extract the zip file into an appropriate location on your computer. These files cannot be deleted after installing!
- Navigate to
chrome://extensions/. In the top right corner, turn on "Developer mode". - In the top left corner, click on "Load unpacked". Navigate to and select the extension folder.
- The extension should now be loaded. In the top right corner, turn off "Developer mode".
- Pin the extension to your toolbar for easy access.
Visit the webpage containing the video you wish to download (the URL should begin with https://echo360.ca/lesson).
Click on the extension icon, and the download will begin. Don't click away until it has completed.
Q: Should I use this to download videos that do not have the download option?
