Comments
@arnaudquette-eaton can you help please? |
I can confirm this is also an issue with my Eaton 5PX 1500 using nut 2.8.2. upsc output

Would you mind running the driver in debug mode 1, to get the HID tree? (you need to Control+C to interrupt then)
I'm looking for UPS.BatterySystem.Voltage, which is the data missing.

So for a version as old as yours you have to find and run the driver program directly (on Debian-ish systems under |

Possibly due to the missing 5PX entries in mge_model_names [] |
Thanks @arnaudquette-eaton good hints. For "5PX" and "5SC" in original post, would you suggest adding more lines like these (with
Which "enumerated model type" would you suggest here? There's quite a lot of choice here, although
@lemeshovich @jstallard : would you be comfortable building and trying a custom NUT variant per https://github.com/networkupstools/nut/wiki/Building-NUT-for-in%E2%80%90place-upgrades-or-non%E2%80%90disruptive-tests - note you do not have to install the built result over the system (packaged) files until you like how it behaves :) |
@jimklimov EATON_5P is a good candidate to align other 5* (PX and SC). |

@lemeshovich @jstallard : I've proposed a PR #2442 - for the build instructions above you'd need to check out its source branch, e.g.:

Its an issue #170 renewal.
I have Eaton 5SC 750VA and im not getting battery.voltage value. In the official Eaton Intelligent Power software i can see it. For example using nut with Eaton 9130 3000VA model this value is present unlike Eaton 5SC 750VA 😭.
Can you please help to find solution to add monitoring to this value for 5SC?
