It would probably be good to leave the Mac/Linux instructions the same and change the commented out Windows directions. So:
# FOR WINDOWS
# grass_call = "grass82"
# shell_setting = True
# FOR MAC/LINUX
grass_call = "grass"
shell_setting = False
